Dr. John Staley
Dr. Staley initially explored dentistry because he was intrigued by a career that did not involve being behind a desk all day. He enjoys working with his hands, problem-solving, and interacting with people—which all make the days go fast! Continuing education is important for Dr. Staley, and he enjoys keeping up with the latest techniques in dentistry. This continuously improves Staley Dental’s services and offers optimum convenience for all his valued patients.
The opportunity to raise a family and practice dentistry in Boise has fulfilled Dr. Staley’s lifelong dream. He loves living in the Boise community and feels blessed to have such a fantastic team that shares his values and work ethic.
Dr. Staley has been married to his wife, Joelle, for 27 years, and they have four daughters and one son. He loves being outdoors, golfing, skiing, cycling, and fishing in his spare time, and he can smoke a good brisket. He is also dedicated to community service through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Meet Our Team
Dental Hygienist
Heidi joined us in 2007 as a dental assistant. She rejoined the team in 2015 as a dental hygienist after finishing her studies and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. Heidi is married and has three handsome boys. Outside of the dental office, you’ll find her riding roller coasters or camping. She’s about to become an avid skier and has a hidden talent for cornhole.
Dental Hygienist
Joyce started with Staley Dental in December 2021. She works as a dental hygienist and loves connecting with patients and helping others. When not working, Joyce enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, cooking, and reading. Her hidden talent is making leather wrap beaded bracelets.
Dental Hygienist
Rosario has been a hygienist since 2018. She has experience working as an assistant as well. She also has a range of other certifications, including in local anesthesia, HIPAA, and OSHA. On weekends, Rosario loves to camp, boat, and cycle, as well as paint ceramics with her daughter. Her hidden talent is bringing old wooden furniture back to life.
Dental Assistant
Emma joined the team in 2023. She has completed training in expanded functions dental assisting and is CPR certified. She loves all her coworkers here at Staley Dental and is always eager to learn. Between Emma’s two jobs and her much-loved Bernese mountain dog, Milo, she stays busy! Singing is her hidden talent, and she also particularly enjoys hot yoga and baking.
Dental Assistant
Heather has been a dental assistant with Staley Dental since 2005. She graduated from Centennial High School in Meridian, Idaho, and received further training at the Academy of Professional Careers in Boise. Heather holds numerous certifications in dental assisting, including expanded functions, radiography, 3D imaging, and CEREC crown design. When not in the office, Heather enjoys outdoor activities, watching sports, and surprising everyone with her talent for baking fancy desserts.
Business Team
Molly moved to Boise in 1999 and began working with us two days after arriving! She is a registered dental assistant with certifications in sealants and CPR but currently serves on our business team. Molly likes to hike and kayak and enjoys the outdoor life Idaho offers. Her favorite hobby is bird-watching, especially hummingbirds. Molly is married to Eric and has two spoiled cats.
Front Office
Heather has worked in the dental field for more than 20 years. She worked as a dental assistant for most of her career but recently decided to shift into the administrative side of dentistry. When not working, Heather enjoys being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her three sons and dog, Blue. She has a hidden talent for braiding hair.
